The Kaiserwinkl – Kössen, the pioneering site of paragliding and hang-gliding, and probably the best-known flying area in Europe, near Reit im Winkl. Almost every paraglider pilot in Germany ends up in the Kaiserwinkl at Kössen's Unterberghorn sooner or later.
In winter this is above all the Kaiserwinkl ski area; in summer the Unterberghorn is one of the best-known paragliding sites anywhere. Finding pleasant accommodation and hotels around Kössen near Reit im Winkl is easy – there's plenty of choice.
The meeting point for our guests is right at the Bergbahn Hochkössen ticket desk – we wait about 10 m to the side of the entrance turnstile to the cable-car cabins.
